On Friday we had the NZ Game Developer's Conference. NZGDC is a great opportunity to see how the game development community is going here in little ol' New Zealand. We heard from a variety of people, saw some awesome games, had Korean BBQ for dinner and wrapped up the night with some team bonding in the form of Karaoke.
I intended to get last week's blog out on Thursday but the week took a sudden turn onto Busy Street and things didn't pan out as intended. Not to worry though, Mondays are just as good as Fridays! (Not really but that's what we tell Monday).
We've got new things lining up to get knocked out of the hypothetical park. These are things on the web versions making their way to mobile. These are things we haven't seen before and variations on old things. These are things that you'll have to wait to see...
SAS Zombie Assault 4 Mobile - Contracts!
The mobile version of SAS4 now has contracts! Contract missions let players compete for goodies in a variety of challenging missions on several new maps. Each contract has a different objective for players to carry out, keeping players on their toes and rotating regularly (the contracts, not the players).
We've got fixes and other fun stuff buried away in the update, so open SAS4 mobile and have a look around the update!
Drew a Gun, Won a Gun
Found in an abandoned balloon factory, the D4R7 Shooter has a familiar feel when used. The gun has many features in addition to firing darts including: a camouflage detection scope, a caustic glue hose, rail-gun core and calibre settings. It appears to be quite upgradeable, but it looks like it would cost a lot of money to do so. Despite having a multitude of features it seems easy enough for even a monkey to be able to use.
D4R7 Shooter - RickyHuang
Congratulations to RickyHuang for his winning, dart-shooting entry into the gun design competition. RickyHuang will receive a shiny new HIKS A10 to show the zombies a thing or two about pain.

It's happened a few times, both directly and indirectly. Not much you can do. Just hope the fail-safes stay up and re-route the connections as best we can while doing investigations.
Do you think some people on Ninja Kiwi purposefully side with the "Bad Guy" in an attempt to get others punished (unfairly)?
Yes, but there are trolls everywhere. We're usually pretty good at seeing when someone is just trying to stir trouble. If you think it's happening we really appreciate you letting us know via Support. I don't think this phenomenon is particular to NK in any way.
Do you think "Hindenbloon" (a portmanteau of "Hindenburg" and "bloon") sounds like a cool boss name?
