What’s been going on this week?
It’s been an explosive week here at Ninja Kiwi with the release of the 6.0 update that brought back the Mortar Monkey! Also included in the update was two new amazing maps and you can see all the details here!
Also, a second, smaller update went out for iOS later in the week. The 6.1 update fixed a bug that was causing crashes on lower end devices with iOS 12 installed.

Are you guys planning on adding a default powers only arena for BTD Battle? It'd be good for competitive players.
We’re actively listening to the BTDB community and monitoring how the Powers update is being received. None of your suggestions are off the table at the moment, so keep them coming!
In an earlier blog post (much earlier) it was stated that if both parts of NK ever met, it would cause a crack in reality. So, would it not be fun to try?
Two parts of the Community Management team met earlier this year and that caused a small paradox. Anything more and it’d be the end of the world as we know it.
What happens to the towers that you sell in a game? Is CHIMPS called CHIMPS since is saves the monkeys from being sold? How does selling them make the player money? Why are instas not worth money? There are a lot of questions here.
They are instantly teleported back to Monkey HQ! Think of it as tapping out but it also means they can return the resources they used for their upgrades which is where players get the money from!

As it is Thanksgiving this weekend, we’d like to say just how thankful we are to have all of you amazing players in our community! We would never have been able to do what we have without you and hope you have a great holiday weekend!

How does Monkey HQ find suitable monkeys for the team of Heroes?
I'd like to request that towerkeepers event schedule here also states the *next* event incoming (i.e. whether it is the event for spending gold, skill points, gems, etc). It would make that portion of the blog interesting and helpful to relevant players. While the rest of the blog is always fun to read, we really don't get anything out of being told about things we saw start ingame some days back!
how do so many spikes come out of spike factory?is there a portal inside it? which gets spikes from an alternative universe filled with spikes? with spike monkeys living in it? what the frick happens inside the spike factory?

The Spike Factory was a scam the whole time! It already had spikes inside it and just spits them out instead of making them!
