What if a friendly bloon floated up to the Super Monkey? Would he be able to stop himself to blast the bloon, or do the goggles force him to shoot?

First, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year! Second, In the end BTD 6 is a single player game, so it shouldn't really matter whether a player cheats it or not. They cheat it for themselves and no one else. For competitive modes like Races, you just could disallow playing the game mode if any mod is enabled. So a player would be required to disable all mods to be able to play them. Althouth personally I think for now the best thing you could do would be that eternally asked tracks editor. Allow adding a custom picture and a path(s), and people probably wll be happy as they will be able to import all BTD 5 tracks into this game.

Even as someone far too lazy to actually mod a game at this point (btd or other), I have to agree completely with k1d in that there is nothing at all unfair with permitting modding in btd6 provided that modders understand they will be banned if they use anything to cheat in any competitive area. I can understand if the real issue is just that support don't feel like trying to distinguish someone altering things for singleplayer amusement vs someone trying to cheat, but a 'hacker pool' for want of a more fitting name did just fine in other games and could do just fine here too. I'd even go as far as saying it'd be nice if there was a "modding mode" button in settings which disabled all competitive modes, paused all achievement counters, and disabled all autoban systems (turning it off would require reinstalling or whatever was needed to ensure alterations were purged). Overall modding things for fun in singleplayer games/modes with no leaderboards etc is perfectly reasonable and nobody has any business objecting to that in itself. If it really is just one high up dude disliking modding because he can, well too bad for him because some people are gonna do it anyway - i just think it would be nice if fair minded non-cheaty people could practice it openly.

"The problem with [mods] is the competitive modes in BTD 6. Being able to mod and still compete in things like races is extremely unfair to players that don’t mod." ...really? That's the excuse you're giving us? This issue could easily be remedied by just not allowing score submissions when using mods. And for the main game, you can either disallow progress entirely, or implement some other system to keep cheating with mods in check. I think I, along with a good many others, know why you disallow modding. Stephen Harris, the big boss of NK (alongside Chris, but he doesn't seem as prominent), is and has always been heavily against modding. If you can somehow convince him that modding isn't synonymous with hacking (that is, many modders just want to make more fun content for the game, while hackers just want to cheat in stuff and end up making the game unfun for others), I feel that'd make a lot of people happy, both within NK and in the community.

How difficult is it to get top comment you might wonder?

I know that several months ago, upgrade trees for the Mortar, Engineer, and Dartling Gun were leaked on Reddit, as well as an icon for co-op mode. What's your opinion on these leaks? Do you support them happening, or try to prevent anything like this happening in the future?

Ever gonna add a campaign? We really need one for BTD 6; it would be extremely interesting and I'm willing to bet other people had the same wishes when BTD 6 was announced. Also will there ever be a "NK Platform" to where all the games are connected like this site? In other words the Ninjakiwi.com but on a platform other then the web?? It would be nice noting flash is going away very soon :((

Well then the simplest thing to do about BTD6 modding is to disable those events if you're on a modded version.

We don't speak of the incident when the Engineer found himself caught between a bloon and the Plasma Monkey...
