Hey everyone! Welcome to this week's blog with the NK team!
What's been going on this week?
We had a big week this week!
Battles 2 received update 1.0.6 with a whole lot of fixes which you can see all the details for here.
We also announced Bloons TD 6+ will be coming to Apple Arcade as part of the Apple Arcade Greats program!
There are no major content differences between normal BTD6 and BTD6+.
BTD6+ will receive all updates that BTD6 does.
You will not be able to port data between the two games however, as BTD6+ has some extra rules in place (you’ll earn monkey money faster for example).
Cross-play is enabled between BTD6 and BTD6+, though names are anonymized on BTD6+.

Are Monkeys the dominant species in the bloons universe?
If they were, there’d be no Bloon war would there! They are definitely the most adorable species.
What is btd6+ going to have btd6 doesn't? Early updates?!
BTD6+ will be updated at the same time as base BTD6 (platform review times not withstanding). More info about BTD6+ is above!
Do the monkeys in the Bloons universe like to play Ninja Kiwi games?
Of course!

We may do but it’s not currently in development plans. We’ll let you know when/if that changes.
Have you ever thought about making a public test/PBE version or server for btd6 so that people could try out new balance changes or new paragons etc. before they actually go live?
We have! Nothing to report yet but we hope to have more info about this in the future.
What monkeys never graduated from the Academy?

Psimbals is a one-monkey band!

Quite a few of them! Dr. Monkey guest lectures at the Monkeyversity frequently.

Are all the animals in the btd universe just really small? Because last I checked monkey children are not bigger than a bison
The btd universe isn’t always the same as ours, so some things are just different sizes!
what happens to a monkey when you sell them?
They go back to the classifieds looking for someone else who could use their services…

We try to keep up with all our communities’ thoughts and ideas on Reddit, Discord and our site.

Not canon but we affectionately refere to them as quest monkey. Absolutely lots of socializing, especially on co-op challenge days.

All of them are pretty well respected!
Is Coke or Pepsi more popular in the NK office?
Definitely Coke.
What is the current state of Bloons TD Esports due to ESL/Dreamhack being sold by MTG to SGG?
We’ve been really focused on first launching and now tuning BTD Battles 2 to make it a great game. Once we’re happy with the state of the game we’ll be in a place to start thinking about Esports, so in short, no change for us with the ESL sale!
What are some of the most popular memes in the monkey universe?
Loss is a favorite. Stonks gets lots of mentions. Still much Pepo.
If striker jones plays on mobile and Ben plays on pc what do the other heroes play on?
Gwen plays on an Amazon Fire tablet!

Will there will be a exclusive tower for btd battles 2 that summons a vehicle that runs through the track and slowly destroys bloons as it cross the path.

How do Monkeys become Heroes?
Long time player, got an idea for a fun achievement. It should be called ~You're a Wizard Monkey.~ On Quiet Street, beat any Hard mode using only dart monkeys and wizard monkeys. Let me know what you guys think. I have plenty more ideas.
