In an effort to keep Ninja Kiwi players up to date on all things Ninja Kiwi, we decided to start a regular blog post to relay the NK happenings to you. With so much going on we couldn't hope to tell you everything (and indeed, there are a lot of things that we prefer to keep for later surprises), but we can attempt to fill you in on the most interesting/important things
We'll try to start having these sort of updates more often, weekly if we can pull it off, so make sure to leave comments about things you would like to know more about and I'll do what I can about filling in the gaps in your knowledge.
Bloons Monkey City
For new stuff, nothing stands above Bloons Monkey City, a game coming soon to Ninja Kiwi.
We currently do not have a release date for Bloons Monkey City.
The only thing we can say at this point is that you will all get a chance to play Bloons Monkey City soon, and as you all know, games take a long time to make, so "soon" can encompass a wide range of possible time frames. But, this soon is getting really close to anyone's definition of the word, so keep an eye out for more announcements around our new game!
Clans and Marks
Many of you have entered into discussion about the Clans, Clan Challenges, Marks of Honor and Marks of Awesome and most importantly, we want you you to know that we are watching these discussions. We can't really reply to every post and question, but know that ears will always listen at Ninja Kiwi to those who speak.
We can recognise a few separate issues with the system and we're thinking about simple ways to remedy the problems we see. With something as complex as player involvement, we don't see any one change to solve everything, but we think with a series of smaller changes to different areas, we can make the Clans and Clan Challenges system feel fair for all players, and hopefully promote a bit of friendly competition.
The first of these changes, which happened last Friday, was to change how new NK accounts are allocated into clans. Previously, the total clan membership was considered, but now we look at each clan's "Active Members" ("Active Members" being players who have earned Awesome Points in the previous 30 days). Already the weekly AP race has evened out, so we think this is a step in the right direction, and with further opportunities for players to contribute to their clan winning, we hope to see an even closer race where individuals feel they can really help.
The previous Clan Challenge, while exciting, did exclude a lot of people simply from being so short. We did intend for the challenge to be over quickly, though less than 24 hours is something we'll try to avoid in the future.
I'll stop here as I'm unsure how long you want to be reading for, but leave any feedback you have about different topics, content, formatting or anything else you can think of for these posts.

I still think sub-clans would be awesome. Anyone else agree?
bloons monkey city: the BEST game ever
Wow, I guess ask and you shall receive. That was the single most thought out and well worded post I've ever seen from NinjaKiwi. And I can honestly say you have renewed my faith with your words of honesty about the state of Ninjakiwi as a whole. I feel we are now all better informed and I have nothing else to say but please keep it up!!! Lovin It!
i would very much like to see some kind of open/closed sign on the front door, or notification on battles when things arent working. i really dont like the system of having to wait and see if things are down by trying to get a game, reconnecting, reconnecting, waiting, checking my connection, reconnecting, waiting, waiting, checking the forums to see if its just me, wading through a bunch of guesses as to what is going on, going back and reconnecting, waiting, reconnecting, waiting, etc...................... if there is some place to just log entries (like a blog, maybe=)) example- 4:23p 1/1 - just updated towers in battles for balancing (details) 5:05p 1/5 - minor server issues preventing connection / unknown time frame / will update soon 5:40p 1/5 - looks bad, may be down for a couple days / will update as soon as new info becomes available 6:30p 1/5 - false alarm, no worries / everything should be operating normally takes 30 seconds to post, and would go a long way to prevent frustration. thats really the only kind of communication i want. but also and most of all, thanks for the awesome games.
Feedback- Ah yes, bloons monkey city is really awesome so far! The wait is worth it, as it is extremely fun to play (yes, I am in the beta). For clans, I think it should be people who have played a game in the last 15 days for active.
Feedback: -I would like to thank you for hearing our complaints about having to go all over to find info, and giving us one place to go. Really something I appreciate. -Secondly, I would also like to see progress on this site's forums, likes, etc. and know what you guys plan on doing to get it running a bit smoother. I would like to see a "What's New" button on the forums here, so that I don't have to go through all of these sections one by one to find posts that may be of interest. -Lastly, I think that it would be cool and fun for some of the bigger games, like BTD5, Monkey City, etc., to have little Easter eggs or secrets. Stuff like that. And thanks for taking time to write that post! :)
Very nice to see that NK is setting a release date to 'Soon' for Bloons MC
Setting a challenge which is over too quickly is frustrating for players. The awesome games on this site are played by people all around the world, so it is tough to log on first thing on a Monday morning to see that the Clan Challenge is almost over. This week's challenge is a different story altogether - we don't even know whether it is over or not. Both the Clan and Individual counters have stopped working and I guess that it is taking a long time to fix (in terms of the total time it should take to do the challenge) as the developers are not in the same time zone as the players at the moment. Even awesome NK developers must need sleep some time! But it is definitely good to know that effective steps are being taken to even up the clan strengths. Thank you.
Very pleased about this. The average person who doesn't go on the forums can actually know about what the NK team are doing. After exactly two and a half months of nothing new happening in the blog section, this will be welcome.
