Last week's blog post was jam-packed with information because of the few week blogging hiatus. This week will be smaller by far, but hopefully the more dense morsels of knowledge getting flung will be appreciated nonetheless. Next week's blog post should hopefully have a few words of wisdom from one of our newest Ninjas at NK that you may have seen around a particular beta.
Temple of the Monkey God: What's it all about?
The Temple in Bloons TD 5 has been the subject of much research among the amazing community you find yourselves a part of. In the grand assortement of documents created during BTD5's... creation, there is but a single page in a spreadsheet dedicated to the most powerful tower in the game. A question on the blog last week asked if there was more information about the Temple, so I've opened said page and had a look.
What has been uncovered by the community pretty much sums up all there is to know about Temple powers. The Temple has 6 attack slots which it cycles though. The base Temple (no sacrifices) will shoot the Base Plasma Effect in all of these slots. There are 5 other possible attack types which are added to a slot when a particular tower type is sacrificed. Each attack type, including the Plasma, has 5 stages of strength which are reached by spending more on the tower type sacrificed or in the case of the Plasma, the total number of "stages" for all other attack types (similar to how Healthy Bananas works).
They other five types are: Freeze, Explosion, Glue, Wind and Sharp. From Ice Towers; Bomb Towers and Mortars; Glue Gunners; Apprentices; and any other tower respectively. The "cost of sacrifice" range for each stage is: 1-1500, 1501-4000, 4001-10000, 10001-30000, 30001+
Each stage will increase the power of that attack type by improving duration of the effect, pierce, popping power, radius, projectile number or even the damage type the attack uses.
If you've always wanted to summon the full powers of the Monkey God you can go forth now and wield it for the personal glory of a high score in BTD5. Though remember that more than power is required to reach to loftiest of lofty heights at the top of the leaderboard. Space management and finding the right balance of strength and support is what will win on the day.
Questions from the Comments
What song was used in your vid [about Impoppable mode last week]?
The description under the YouTube video has a little more info (a tune from Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)) but the title of the track has evaded my search... for now.
Will there be more frequent updates to BTD5 web?
BTD5 web's current update frequency is not likely to be increased, no. There will still be updates, but we won't be returning to the weekly updates that BTD5 started out with.
Thanks for joining me! The last week at Ninja Kiwi has been fully focused on SAS: Zombie Assault 4 (besides the work on updates and games we're not ready to talk about yet) so there isn't a whole lot to talk about today. Leave a question or comment below if you want to know something and I'll see you next week!

Scooter07210 expect not, upgrade to Impopable BTD5 Web For unlike the laptop and Deluxe versions, you win less money and has much less monkeys towers.
*Looks at the top comment* We can assume so, yes.
Will impoppable mode be added to BTD5 on computers and BTD5 Deluxe?
thanks! i like this blog post!
Hmmm, some useful information on this blog this week. I shall use it to discuss with the members over at Kongregate so that they know about this too.
Woo! Is it spool? :D
Any informations on new upcoming games that hasn't been announced yet?
well, ive known about the 6 attacks thing, but NOT that they were tiered. interesting.
Look at this quote: "The last week at Ninja Kiwi has been fully focused on SAS: Zombie Assault 4 (besides the work on updates and games we're not ready to talk about yet)" "games we're not ready to talk about yet" What games are they not ready to talk about yet? What new things are they planning for us (these aren't rhetorical questions, either. I really want to know)?
some intresting temple stuff, but definatly not what i wanted to hear from this blog, not even a mention to monkey city
