Recently there was an update for BTD Battles on iOS and Android that introduced the Monkey Sub. The Monkey Sub is a powerful water tower that will give you new tools to vanquish your foes on the battlefield. If you've got an Android or iOS device, go grab the game now: Link for Android, link for iOS
SAS: Zombie Assault 4
More recently than that, even, SAS4 has had an update to introduce pre-mission Power-Ups. Power-Ups let you spend some cash to get some quality equipment and special temporary abilities for your soldier to take into battle. There's even a Power-Up that makes the gods look upon you favourably, if you'd like to take the chance.
The SAS4 dev team has also been hard at work making the game run better. It's the biggest game we've ever made for our humble website, and even with the increased power of Flash compared to previous games there's still a lot going on behind the scenes to get you your daily dose of zombie destructification. Every update for SAS4 will have at least minor changes that should improve the local and multiplayer performance of the game. Whether that's loading background stuff earlier so it doesn't pop in or slow down, or handling syncronisation between players in a smoother way.
While you can expect improvements alongside every balance tweak or new feature, you may be wondering about other ways you can improve your gameplay experience.
Here are a few things that we've seen improve performance in SAS4 (and a lot of other games too!):
Check you have the latest version of Flash installed. Here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ (NB: Google Chrome has its own built in Flash plugin, so if you want to stick with that browser have a look at the support page (linked at the bottom of every NK site page) and look for the instructions on how to change that. It doesn't always make a difference, but it can be worth a try)
Try other browsers. Players can see performance change significantly between browsers so you may find one does better for you. Common browsers to check are Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and good ol' Internet Explorer.
Close other tabs/windows, especially those with Flash elements. Modern computing has gotten very good at allocating resources to where they're most needed, but reducing the amount of things your computer is doing can often make things run a bit smoother.
Try low quality, and reduced effects. In the menu for SAS4, you have the option to turn off effects and change the whole game to a lower quality. The game won't look as nice but it will generally run a bit smoother if it was stuggling before.
Improve your internet connection: Simple ways are to not be downloading/uploading anything on the same network, or connecting with a wire to your router rather than using a wireless connection. There are more complex ways but 99% of people won't need to go down that route. If you are one of those people you're probably seeing internet issues all the time (not just in games).
Questions from the Comments:
Will there be new vault challenges for BTD5?
There will indeed. The next BTD5 update (release date TBC) will include a few more months worth of vault challenges. That's AP for those who have done them before, and a bunch more gameplay for those that haven't.
Is there a way to disable chat in SAS4 in case a player is being obnoxious etc? [Updated]
There is! The "Chat on" icon can be clicked to change it to "Chat off." As you can imagine, that turns the chat off (or on, if you go the other way around)
Will SAS4 be receiving weekly updates?
Nope, it's very unlikely any game will get such a rigourous update schedule again. Besides the quick iterations of newly beta-ised games, actual content updates will be more spread out.
What does SAS stand for?
Special Air Service. The coolest military regiment out there. Check out the wikipedia entry for extra info.
What's an ETA?
ETA stands for Estimated Time of Arrival. It's an approximate time/date for something to arrive based on current rate of travel, development speed etc.
Have a good weekend!

Do power-ups include the turrets that we couldn't get before, like the CM SuperNova? I haven't been on in a long time. :|
weapon spread should be listed as a factor when describing a weapon in SAS4 as well as an offline version like btd5 deluxe that can be connected to the internet for multiplayer mode. also when will the site come out of beta? (still love the game :)
will private matches be in SAS4?
Hello
is the first time it happened, but a bug like this is really bad. the only things I would like would be the purchase of weapons like in SAS3, to see our character names
zombies didn't spawn, and (I think) my allies just kept on performing whatever action they were when it glitched out. two were walking into walls and one was firing his machine gun forever. they also were not responding to chat messages. I think they had a similar situation. don't get me wrong, I like the game, and this
attention! this will be split into multiple comments due to comment size! I was just playing SAS4 and it says its connected to the server but it seems as though it isn't as nearly no parts of the game are working, I just ran out of time (the vaccine mission) and it just kept going, the rooms I entered would not work,
Will SAS4 be getting daily cash bonuses like BTD5 ?
