This week has been much like any other. The rain has been rainier, sure, but that soothing patter only enhances the indoor experience I always find. If you'd visited this week, much like if you'd visited on any other, you would have seen a room full of computers, chairs, exersize balls and awesome people typing, drawing, chatting and generally working hard to make cool stuff happen on your computer or preffered portable device.
So read on, equally awesome person. There might be something you're interested in.
Contested Territory: Still Under Repair
Last week we released Contested Territory for Bloons Monkey City, and promptly had to take it down again due to server related problems. We've spent the intervening time making everything more efficient so that you can get back to earning that cash money for your city... but it's not ready just yet.
Along with actually being able to play CT, the next update will introduce dastardly health and speed increases for Bloons to make getting those high round scores much harder. We've also chucked in the super ceramics from Bloons TD 5 freeplay, the ones with more health and single children (one rainbow, one zebra and so on)
These changes are a step to make CT not take so long, and not lag quite so much. It's also only a first step if more steps must be taken.
Contested Territory is still under repair, but we'll hopefully see you on the battlegrounds next week ready to show what your city is made of.
Bloons TD 5 Mobile
For all the mobile fans in the house, Bloons TD 5 Mobile got an update!
Version 2.9 for Bloons TD 5 introduces the colloquially known Wheel of Challengosity! This ancient wheel has been discovered deep in the heart of the Sun God temple and contains 4 new challenges every day. Choose a difficulty then spin the wheel to be presented with a track and 4 towers. Your task is to complete the challenge using only these towers.
There are 28 challenges to complete each week before the counter resets so don’t delay. Jump in and take on a challenge today on iOS or Android
Bugs and You
A question last week asked what to do if you have a bug or something and you can't PM an admin. Nobody likes bugs, but what should you do when you find one?
There's a few different things you should do with a bug report depending on what sort of bug it is.
The common bugs
For most bugs you should just go to the bug report thread for that game and post it there. These are for things like the Monkey Ace being able to fly off screen if you adjust its flight course at the right time, or explosions not being able to pop other frozen bloons if they hit a black bloon first. Giving instructions on how you make it happen is the most helpful thing you can do, but also take a sentence to explain the bug itself. Making us guess the problem from a screenshot isn't the best.
These are bugs that are something in the game that we can try recreate, but haven't really affected you much.
The bugs that need some personal attention
Some bugs will affect your account though. Most of the time it's going to be something that made you lose in-game cash or similar. For these cases, while still reporting to a bug thread if you know how the bug happened, you need to email support@ninjakiwi.com if you want us to try and fix what was lost. We can't always, but the majority of the time we'll be able to help you out in some way.
note: Games in beta are going to have more issues. For these games we are less likely to be able to fix things for you. No harm in checking if you feel like you've lost something important.
note 2: Some bugs may just make it look like you've lost something, so it's always a good idea to refresh the game once or twice to see if that changes anything.
The problematic bugs
Sometimes you might find a bug that gives you an unfair advantage over other players. Whether it's in multi player, or single player, these sort of bugs should only be emailed to support@ninjakiwi.com. Posting them publicly will spread the exploit and create more work for us which slows down updates for all games.
I also highly recommend that you do not continue to exploit the bug. If you are doing it purposefully to get an advantage your account could be banned.
Other bugs
Sometimes a bug won't even be in a game. You may find a general bug thread for whatever you're seeing on the general or NK support forum, or you can choose to email that into us too.
Questions from the Comments
None of these this week. Most questions had either already been answered, the answer hadn't changed from a previous time (have a quick look over some old blog posts, they're just as awesome now as they were when they first came out!) or we don't have any news about that particular question.
Oh, but we would like to get more clothing in your hands in future.
Have a good weekend.

are you guys going to make a btd6?
Hi NinjaKiwi. Uh, I have a question that just showed up. When I started up SAS 4, I noticed underneath my characters names when choosing who to play as that is said "Daily Reward Available!" What does it mean? Where should I be looking for it? Just curious, because it threw me to left field when I saw it.
It's been a while since we've heard of the portal artifact ya think? Any news on it?
Since the new SAs4 update I sometimes get an error message but that's fine. It's when the screen goes all black except the error sign and then it goes all glitchy.
