It's May, finally, and tautologically speaking that means it's May. Unfortunately it's the 1st of May, so I can't really say much more about that. It's been an eventful week with updates though, so let's jump right in.
SAS Zombie Assault Mobile - Events!
The mobile version of SAS4 is now at version 1.3 and this brings Events to mobile players. Sam is here to tell you a little bit about that if you're not sure what they're all about:
Bloons Monkey City Web - Monkey Knowledge Sale and More Events!
BMC web has some new events! We're starting off with a couple of simple ones, Bountiful Harvest and a Mini Land-grab giving 2x city farm production and a Red Hot Spikes reward for capturing 3 tiles. These are the first of many smaller events that change how the game plays for a short period of time. They're customisable events that we intend to switch up periodically to reward normal play and even encourage a more singular approach to certain parts of the game.
This weekend we've got a Monkey Knowledge Pack sale and don't forget to go in and earn your rewards for Contested Territory Milestones!
SAS Zombie Assault 4 - Contract Events!
Contracts are fast game-types set on four new maps, with cash, ammo and equipment rewards based on how well you and your team do during the mission. Contracts rotate often so make sure to check on them between regular and Nightmare games to see if there's one you want to take. The various equipment manufacturers are practically giving stuff away!
Along with contracts there are a few balance changes and bug fixes which you can read more about from the in-game patch notes.

There aren't any plans for Clan Challenges at the moment. They're on hiatus essentially. What will happen with them, clans and Marks in general, no one knows.

Those were some pretty cool updates, thanks for all the hard work, NK guys. After SAS4 came out, i pretty much switched from BMC to it and I just went back the other day, when monkey knowledge was released. I was considering some stuff: I remember, many friday posts ago, that you guys were considering ways to make people play more Monkey vs Monkey, because there were, and there still is some stalemate about it. After a while I started not sending attacks and just defending because i dont want to risk losing honor attacking, and i think its the same with many people. Suddenly it came to me: ATTACKS DO NOT INVOLVE SKILL, simple as that. Its pretty upsetting to lose that hard-earned honor when you send attacks with random outcomes. So I had some ideas, one would be to separate attack from defence in regard to honor. Honor should be related to just defence, you win a defence, you gain honor, you lose a defence you lose honor, both accordingly to the difficult of the attack. Attacks could give a different reward since they are almost like lotery. Rewards like bloonstone or monkey knowledge after some number or streak of victories would be awesome. I don't think a penalty for losing attacks is really necessary. If thats too complicated to pull, then other idea would be something like: every 2nd attack could be "protected". If the defender succeeds, he gains honor normaly, but you dont lose it. This wouldn't solve the lack-of-skill-involved-issue, but, at least i think people would start sending many more attacks. To sum up, losing less honor with the attack is the way to go, i think. I guess this was probably largely discussed somewhere else, but since you always read what we post here, well, i just hope it not to be too inconvenient. thanks.
http://prntscr.com/70r0yf It's been 6 months now since I heard about SAS 4. After 2 months of fooling around, I got focused on grinding for the harder achievements. After 4 months of grinding, I now have every SAS 4 achievement except for Last Stand Map mastery. Is it possible to check if any NK profiles in the community have every SAS 4 achievement yet? If so, how many? If not, how many out there are like me, having only 1 achievement left to attain?
Are there any plans to put events in BMC Mobile?
The armor re-work was a step in the right direction, making it more difficult to attain 99% protection. Is it possible to please to make 100% armor possible, but then make all zombies bypass 3% of armor and all bosses bypass 6% of armor? The game really has become too ridiculously easy for high ranking players with good black armor like myself.
