Updates are approaching at an ever increasing pace, but this week we've only got a bit of Bloons Monkey City action for you to sink your darts into.
Bloons Monkey City - Bloon Beacon!
An interestingly mysterious, crystalline object has appeared. It's the most glorious and royalist of purples and there's sweet artwork telling you it's something called a Bloon Beacon. You approach it, cautiously at first, and then notice a large number of bloons gathering around it just outside your city limits. As lord of all you purvey you force a lowly farmer over the fence to go and see what's up. Before long you hear a monkey scream and the farmer is running back with singed bloomers and quite a tale to tell his grandchildren.
You venture forth with your forces, sure to never actually be in harms way yourself, and you attack the bloon menace surrounding this so-called Bloon Beacon. There's more of them than expected but they seem a bit dazed and you manage to capture the area, expanding your city. You walk forward to get a close look at the sparklingly majestic, crystalline object. You flick it with your monkey cane and it rings out with an echoing buzz and you can all but perceive an almighty roar. The glow intensifies. The beacon fizzles and spits pretty purple particles and disappears before your very eyes. At your feet, as if by magic, sits a lovely package of Monkey Knowledge.
You go back to your life, beat up some pesky bloons to expand a bit more, capture a territory or two and the Bloon Beacon returns some hours later and you capture the tile again, earning another Monkey Knowledge Pack. It's all so mysterious. What does it all mean? Surely there's more to all this...

Why "Fortress Destroyer"? Why not "Battleships", "Fleet Commander", ...?
Love your formatting. The turrets and buildings are kinda fortressy... It's a name that's been around from the beginning (2+ years ago) and will hopefully be explored more in future.

They can be. This is taken on a case by case basis. Bans are usually only temporary if we do get that point.

Another update for BMC and nothing to solve the honor system problem (sigh!) . Seriously guys you can not create something temporary for us earn some honor until your find the ideal solution?
Do you guys have any plans to take the older tracks from BTD 1-4, polish them up a bit, and add them to BTD5 as "track packs" that could be bought with Monkey Money? You should. I bet there are a lot of people (like me) who would like to play some of those older tracks *cough* the Monkeys vs. Bloons track *cough* in the newer BTD5.
So, when you said that the exclusive stuff from BTD5 Deluxe (the Special Missions and tracks) probably won't be added to BTD5 Steam, do you mean that they will just be ignored and forgotten? You can't even add it to the Flash version to give it something exclusive that the mobile versions have not? After all, Deluxe and the Flash version have the same style, and I'm sure people would be happy if you added those missions and tracks to it.
Any plans for something players in BMC with level 40 cities can spend their millions of excess city cash on? Maybe buying knowledge packs, bloonstones, replaying Special Mission tiles, ....
@Scottobozo They used the second city in place of the five portal artifacts. These aren't portal artifacts.
Hi Aaron Is there any chance the amount of points needed to go up one level in monkey knowledge in BMC is changed / reduced? I did some math - an average knowledge pack is 165 "points" (130 - 200), and there are 15 "areas", so each knowledge pack adds on average 11 points to each area. Assuming it takes 2000 points to go from level 3 to 4, it means I need to collect almost 200 knowledge packs to level up from 3 to 4 on all areas. Thanks, M
