Hi everyone! Welcome to the blog post for May 18, 2018. With Bloons TD 6 taking up all our time we haven't got a whole lot to announce this week. We have been releasing teaser images for the game, showing off a few things as well as hiding further info in crackable codes. After BTD6 comes out, will there still be Daily Challenges for BTD5, or will older ones be recycled?
BTD5 Daily Challenges will (likely) start being repeated close to BTD6's release, depending on when we can spare the time to implement the system.

FAL, RIA T7 and Stripper.

Do you know which month BTD6 will come out?
Nope. I could guess, but I'm not allowed to say.

It's been discussed but it's not currently being planned/implemented.
BTDB and BMC are both clear spin-offs of BTD5 - will BTD6 receive similar spin-offs?
That's something for future NK to decide.
Will BTD5 go free once BTD6 is released?
Nope, BTD5 can never escape.
Why won't you let your fans/players create mods for your games?
We do to some extent, but (most) games that support modding are set up to support it. Because our games aren't, it's just people directly editing stuff which can lead to issues with cheating and breaking the game/data if the player makes a mistake. Supporting modding isn't a switch, it needs to be planned for and set up, with development time invested in it. The reason it hasn't been invested in? It's just not something we've felt drawn to.

What will happen if Ninja Kiwi receive a ZIP file of 1,000 track designs with high quality pictures and good details of BTD5 from many expert players in the world?
Due to the extraordinariness of the situation I couldn't even guess. There wouldn't be a guarantee any would be used, but we have used fan concepts before. It would be awesome to see the ideas though!

Will Bloons TD 6 require a much more powerful phone than what is needed to play BMC?
We haven't finalized recommended/minimum specs and supported devices just yet. A modern device that can run BMC should be OK (I think, not official).

Why don't the Spectre's darts seek bloons?
The whole weapons system is swapped out with the upgrade.
