Hi everyone! Welcome to the blog post for May 18, 2018. With Bloons TD 6 taking up all our time we haven't got a whole lot to announce this week. We have been releasing teaser images for the game, showing off a few things as well as hiding further info in crackable codes. If you haven't seen any of them yet, we've prepared this small teaser trailer showing them off...

After BTD6 comes out, will there still be Daily Challenges for BTD5, or will older ones be recycled?
BTD5 Daily Challenges will (likely) start being repeated close to BTD6's release, depending on when we can spare the time to implement the system.
Out of all the SAS weapons (across all games), what are your 3 favorites?
FAL, RIA T7 and Stripper.

Do you know which month BTD6 will come out?
Nope. I could guess, but I'm not allowed to say.

It's been discussed but it's not currently being planned/implemented.
BTDB and BMC are both clear spin-offs of BTD5 - will BTD6 receive similar spin-offs?
That's something for future NK to decide.
Will BTD5 go free once BTD6 is released?
Nope, BTD5 can never escape.
Why won't you let your fans/players create mods for your games?
We do to some extent, but (most) games that support modding are set up to support it. Because our games aren't, it's just people directly editing stuff which can lead to issues with cheating and breaking the game/data if the player makes a mistake. Supporting modding isn't a switch, it needs to be planned for and set up, with development time invested in it. The reason it hasn't been invested in? It's just not something we've felt drawn to.

What will happen if Ninja Kiwi receive a ZIP file of 1,000 track designs with high quality pictures and good details of BTD5 from many expert players in the world?
Due to the extraordinariness of the situation I couldn't even guess. There wouldn't be a guarantee any would be used, but we have used fan concepts before. It would be awesome to see the ideas though!

Will Bloons TD 6 require a much more powerful phone than what is needed to play BMC?
We haven't finalized recommended/minimum specs and supported devices just yet. A modern device that can run BMC should be OK (I think, not official).

The whole weapons system is swapped out with the upgrade.

The newest blimp could be called a LLAMA, lead lined, armoured, multi-layered, atrocity. A blimp that has to be damaged by explosives etc. but it speeds up as you removed the layers of lead
The newest blimp in BTD6, the AKOB (pronounced "a cob"), or "Almighty King Of Bloons" is the final boss of the game, appearing at the end of the round 85 to give you one final challenge before free play. He is a boss bloon, but unlike any other. he will slowly summon his minions as you damage him, Camos, Regens, Ceramics, even other Blimps. his first stage has him sending out camo zeebras every time you hit him, after the first skull flares up, he sends 5 MOABs and switches to sending regrow rainbows. after the 2nd skull, he sends out 10 BFBs, and starts to send out camo-regrow ceramics, until the 3rd skull is hit, where he releases a huge cluster of ZOMGs, and starts sending out random camgrow bloons. after he dies, he gives your towers a permenant debuff that only lasts untill the end of the round, hoping that your weakened defense will let his bloon minions pass by.
The blimp would be a gold coloration with gilded turbines and 3 diamond rockets at the back, to seem regal. Upon beating him, he drops the rewards for impopable/hard mode, and a few extra goodies. there would also be a special mission, like MOAB Madness, where you plan your defense against a powered up version of AKOB.
If you so happen to chose me as the winner, (if it isnt hard to ask, although i doubt you will follow my request) then i would like to have either the Gold or Silver weapon skins, or some (if not all) the tower skins in BTD battles. i play on android, and my Google Play is Hailjames236@gmail.com.
